In Rage’s story, the asteroid strikes on August 23, 2029, and the few pockets of survivors are forced to begin a new civilization.

The world is populated by human survivors of the impact, who have come together to form settlements around oases and other practical or habitable locations, including racetracks. These fragile homes are diligently defended by the inhabitants against bandits and mutants, which are divided into various gangs and organizations of their own. Bandits and mutants serve as the player’s main enemies for much of the game, and later races, although id Software has hinted at some sort of significant change around the halfway point in the storyline, where races become relevant.

The player emerges into this setting after being preserved inside an underground shelter called an Ark. The Arks are the direct result of the Eden Project, a massive international undertaking in which hundreds of Arks (cryogenic pods) were sealed under the surface of the Earth with twelve people inside each. Each passenger possessed a special ability or trait that, combined with those of the other members, would help them rebuild society. The Eden Project, however, was far less successful than hoped. The player’s Ark in particular is in sorry shape upon the start of the game – all of the other residents of the player’s Ark are dead (presumably because of the impact), and the equipment of the Ark is destroyed as well, and so the player wakes up alone and uninformed. With no memory of his identity or objective, the player is forced to head for the surface to find sustenance and allies.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is an upcoming single-player role playing title for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the PC. Kingdoms of Amalur will feature “5 distinct regions, 4 playable races, and 3 class trees with 22 abilities per tree.”[3] The player starts off as a “blank slate,” waking up in a pile of corpses after returning from the dead. The game will utilize a unique “destiny” system, whereby the player can invest in a skill-tree system to unlock various “destinies,” which acts as the class system for the game. Combat works based on the timing of button presses, similar to the style of an action RPG, with occasional quicktime events like those in the God of War series.

August 1957; the United States of America has fallen to the Chimera. Four years after Resistance 2, dishonorably discharged Sentinel Joseph Capelli has given up fighting the Chimeran menace; he has been reduced to hiding with other survivors, including his wife and young son. Approximately ninety percent of Earth’s population are dead or have been turned into Chimera. When Dr. Fyodor Malikov arrives with the opportunity to deliver a blow to the occupying Chimeran force, Capelli leaves his family to journey the harrowing road from Oklahoma to New York City. Along the way, he encounters the remnants of humanity left in the aftermath of the brutal Chimeran invasion. During the time Capelli was in hiding, Dr Malikov conducted experiments on Nathan Hale’s dead body and discovered that Hale had unique blood cells that would slowly and shortly eliminate the disease within him. Malikov was able to create a “cure” for the Chimera virus out of Hale’s blood.

Upon being forced to stab his ally Lucy Stillman, Desmond Miles has fallen into a coma, and has been returned to the Animus to maintain his consciousness. There, he falls into an Animus back door called the Black Room, where he hopes to reassemble his shattered mind – and therefore reawaken from the coma – by locating a key memory connecting himself, Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad and Ezio Auditore da Firenze together. To do so, he begins reliving the later memories of Ezio.

After having freed Italy from the Templar threat, the Mentor of the Assassin Order, Ezio Auditore questions his life as an Assassin, wondering how it would have been if he had never been one.

Ezio thus sets out on a pilgrimage to his predecessor’s homeland of Masyaf, which he discovers has been overrun by the Templars. There, he finds an ancient artifact, which is locked away, and can only be opened with five seals.

The search for these seals takes him to Constantinople, where he finds out that there is an army of Templars forming in the city – threatening to destabilize the region. Ezio must follow in the footsteps of his spiritual mentor and forefather, Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, which will lead him to discovery and revelation

The game takes place between Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion. Other M opens with a cinematic showing the final battle with Mother Brain at the conclusion of Super Metroid. After escaping the exploding Planet Zebes, Samus Aran awakens on a Galactic Federation ship. After leaving, she receives a distress signal, commonly coded as “Baby’s Cry”, from a dormant “Bottle Ship”, which is floating a short distance away from a Federation vessel. Upon stepping into the ship, Samus encounters a group of GF soldiers, known as the Galactic Federation 07th Platoon, led by Anthony Higgs, who fought alongside her before she left the GF military. She also meets Adam Malkovich, who used to be her commanding officer when she was in the Federation Army. Something happened that caused Samus to leave the army, causing Adam to be standoffish and guarded, calling Samus an “outsider” and ordering his team not to reveal any details of their mission to her.

However, after defeating Brug Mass, a large, purple tentacle-monster, Samus is welcomed onto the team and briefed on the details of their mission. Adam explains that the soldiers’ comm systems are useless, so the Navigation Booths in the facility will be their only means of communication when not together. Adam also orders them to search for any survivors and bring them to safety. They all split up to explore different parts of the space ship, in hopes of discovering the threat that they are up against.[20]

Samus is first ordered to reactivate the Bottle Ship’s electrical system, then is ordered to find a facility of interest in Sector 1, the Biosphere. She runs through the tropical territory, encountering a small creature that stares at her. She finds the facility of interest and meets up with the platoon, being attacked by a large, purple lizard-like creature. The group discovers the body of Lyle Smithsonian, one of their members, and the husk of the white creature Samus found earlier. She is ordered to follow the lizard creature.

Descending down a shaft into Sector 3, the Pyrosphere, she tracks the creature, being attacked by Vorash, a large lava monster. Soon, Adam orders her to go to Sector 2, the Cryosphere, where she discovers the body of Maurice Favreau, and sees a woman staring at her. The woman flees, but Samus pursues, and tries to convince her that she means no harm. The two of them are attacked by a soldier wearing a Galactic Federation Power Suit driving a sort of mechanism, and the woman is separated from Samus. Adam notices that the wavelength frequencies of the lizard-like creature battled earlier is growing more aggressive, and is stationed at the Pryosphere. Along the way, Samus believes there is a “traitor” within the 07th Platoon, and nicknames him “the Deleter”.

Samus returns to Pyrosphere to investigate the Geothermal Power Plant, and encounters the husk of the lizard creature, which was shed from Samus’ arch-nemesis Ridley, who is present for unknown reasons onboard the Bottle Ship. Ridley assaults Samus, with Anthony Higgs saving her and Ridley seemingly kills Anthony by knocking him off the ledge. After a battle, Ridley flees. Leaving Pyrosphere, Samus spots one of her comrades walking away, and pursues him to Biosphere. She finds the woman again, who identifies herself as “Madeline Bergman”. She tells Samus about the secret operations there: the scientists were propogating Metroids in Sector Zero.

Samus journeys to Sector Zero, and encounters a small Metroid that reminds her of the Metroid hatchling. She also spots Adam, who has decided to detach and destroy the sector along with him. Samus pleads with him not to, but he locks the doors and leaves her behind. Samus returns to the facility where she again encountered Madeline Bergman, and finds that a Queen Metroid had survived the detachment of Sector Zero. She spots another red-haired woman that runs away from her similar to Madeline. Samus introduces herself and states why she is here. She identifies herself as Madeline Bergman as well. Samus is confused, but Madeline explains that the woman she met was MB, an android that was reincarnated from Mother Brain, used to control special forces modeled after the Space Pirates. MB soon began to develop emotions, and turned against the scientists, controlling the forces to destroy the station.

MB, whose nickname from Madeline is “Melissa”, steps in aiming a pistol at the two of them. Despite Samus’ protests, Madeline attempts to talk to MB. However, she blasts Madeline back, and is subsequently frozen by a group of Federation Marines that invaded the Bottle Ship. They shoot MB to death, and restrain Madeline. The colonel of the Federation talks to Samus and states that since the rest of the platoon members are dead, she is an “outsider” and is not allowed contact with Madeline. He orders one of the soldiers to escort her back to her Gunship, but the soldier turns out to be Anthony Higgs, who states that his orders are to ensure the safety of any survivors. Madeline, Samus and Anthony leave the Bottle Ship in Samus’ gunship, for Galactic Federation Headquarters.

After the closing credits, before the Galactic Federation decides to destroy the Bottle Ship, Samus flies back to recover an important treasure. She re-explores the Bottle Ship and defeats Phantoon, until she discovers the location where Adam sat and left his helmet. Samus clutches the helmet as she escapes from the Bottle Ship in her Zero Suit, before it is utterly destroyed

— Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games today announced that Street Fighter X Tekken is in development for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. The title will make history as fighters from these two bastions of the fighting genre come together for the very first time.

Utilizing the same technology that powered Street Fighter IV & Super Street Fighter IV, Tekken characters such as Kazuya Mishima and Nina Williams will make the transition into the Street Fighter universe having been re-imagined using the much-loved art style of these seminal titles; while retaining their unique characteristics and signature moves as they go head-to-head with classic brawlers from the Street Fighter franchise in what promises to be the ultimate match up.

As in Street Fighter IV, 2D gameplay will feature fully realized 3D character models battling for domination in both new and familiar highly detailed environments that are brought to life with engaging animations. In addition to modes such as Versus and Training that will feature new enhancements to make the fighting experience more in-depth and enjoyable, Street Fighter X Tekken will include Tag Team combat where players select two fighters to deliver knockout assist attacks and special combos.
