Way to be mature about it bro. Russel is like a 6 yr old with bad manners.

Right! Not having or wearing a belt makes you a criminal. LOL

Saggin is apart of the struggle. It came from men coming home from jail all over the country with no belt and no means to buy a new one, Get a belt or get food? It was just so many of them coming home, the kids didn’t see the men that lived in there community wearing belts. So why get one? it’s accepted where they live. If you Sag your paints it doesn’t make you a criminal or have the mentality. The real question is why do we let them take the men out of our community for non-violent offenses?

Wow! …of all the important topics raised here, people want to single-out and address the ‘fashion/dress-code’ one. I think many are missing the point.

This guy is right on point. No more excuses for the trash that is in our community. I live in the hood and in Texas and I know that in am more likely to be shot here in South Park by a brother than to be be shot by one of these racist conservative trashy “so called Christians”. Usually those are the people that I go in on because I pretty much hate conservatives. But what this guy say is true 100 percent

Lemon (if that’s his real name) and his conservative have no resume in domestic inequalities, voters rights, profiling, urban school closings, civil rights, constitutional rights…. Because to speak out on those issues would require him to remove his lipps from the a.s.s. of the conservative agenda… Thus jeopardizes loosening his position from said a.s.s. to some other minstrel…

The Simmons family is a model family in this country COMPARED! to what Lemon & his self-righteous lifestyle is bringing to the black cultural table with his MINSTREL commentator contribution… He deser deserves NO letters or response… Perhaps Lemon should criticize the music industry big wheels who profit .. the banks or importer of drugs, the gun manufacturers for their influences….

  9. HiRoader11 on Mon, 12th Aug 2013 4:11 pm

The guy does deserve any letters, He shouldn’t even be spoken to For him to manipulate “taken the high road ” is hypocrisy… Because his words comes WITHOUT deeds…. Like alot of other so-called MINSTREL community representatives …. The Simmons family is/ and has been a model family in this country c

I loved Mr. Lemons response very classy and to the point. You only have one chance to make a first impression and that first impression is usually made by how you look then how you speak and what you say which will determine how your message is received.

The pants P. Diddy sells were deliberately mislabeled so that the pants would sag. If a person is a size 36, they would purchase a size 38 or 40 but the label on the pants would actually be 36. If parents allow their children to wear their pants without belts and listen to that garbage call hip hop, then it’s the parent’s fault. I don’t allow my son to speak “Ebonics” nor listen to hip hop music. He wears a belt and clothes that properly fit him.I am so glad you addressed Russell Simmons.Thank u

Those are mainly black *teens that sag and nowadays its not limited to blacks, I’ve seen youth of all races sag. The people who type in caps and generalize races are the real idiots. Damn ignorant fool.

    Love it!

  15. nom som on Mon, 12th Aug 2013 6:37 pm

I don’t see alot of saggers these days. But i also know black men have a lot more issues to worry about than sagging pants. Also im pretty sure black men aren’t the only race that have sagged before.

  16. davidewilson on Mon, 12th Aug 2013 7:11 pm

The question for all Black males, as well as females, is this….CAN YOU COMPETE IN THIS SOCIETY? If you’re sagging, how are you gonna compete? You are wearing the uniform of criminals. I am a huge fan of Russell Simmons but I can’t believe how off the mark he is on this one. And I still love hip-hop but sagging gets you know where. It shows your ignoarance. YOU CAN’T COMPETE with others in education nor in the workplace. Pull your pants up and let’s start seriously competing with “others.”

Don is no role model for Black men he is a sex slave to some white boy so what does he know about being a strong Black MAN.

We are dealing with individualism here people. You people need to read, study and go back to researching the factual problems that caused a massive chain reaction in what we call the african-american-cultural-epidemic-breakdown in the late 20th century, to this age we live in. I advice you people to find out about( Dr.Claud Anderson). Also (Dick Gregory). And the reports on the CIA’s infiltration of the black panther movement in the 70s. LOOK WHERE THE PROBLEM STEMMED FROM. IM NOT EVEN AMERICAN

  22. Scopps94 on Mon, 12th Aug 2013 11:04 pm

    Honestly,Honestly ppl!!
The “sagging of the pants” is one VERY ..BASIC issue needed to be dealt with on it’s own terms. Black men are not exclusively the perpetrators of that trend in urban casual wear. Dealing with the black family structure isn’t something to RANT about on Live television and praising Bill o’reilly for. I respect and admire Don Lemon wholeheartedly. But I think he has entered into a lot of mess & complication he’s not with the slightest awareness of.

  23. Timothy Jackson on Mon, 12th Aug 2013 11:07 pm

I agree with Don 100%…but he seems to have a fantasy about white men though.

  24. Timothy Jackson on Mon, 12th Aug 2013 11:31 pm

and he loves ugly ass white men like yourself.
