Look up the word mysogyny then you might get what he’s saying. Has nothing to do with love or emotion and he has plenty of songs that speak of neither. “Problems” with A$AP Rocky is a prime example.

Cowlishaw and Bomani’s interactions are as good as Woody & Jay’s used to be.

The Chris Webber analogy is so so good.

Oh, the Chris Webber analogy is exactly right..

Will smith stats of success is higher then anyone of todays music. His music besides summertime wouldn hold up wit todays mc but in his time frame his sales holds him up as onenof the greatest. Key words one of not the greatest

Bomani is on crack! Wtf is he talking about? He probably thinks Vanilla Ice was great too.

Its not really a diss on anybody….bomani is just saying be who you are…you clearly have the talent…dont try to make yourself ‘hood’ to make it look like you belong.

I don’t believe Bomani. Had Drake stayed in his Phone, Little Brother phase like he was early on he wouldn’t have sold. Probably be just another Elzhi. He needed to switch up his style to sale records.

ehhh…compliment I dunno either if that’s compliment to Drake but b/c I think Hip-Hop has been pretty crappy for quite awhile including Drake it’s mos def not a compliment to C-Webb!! I get the comparison but that story reminds more of Vanilla Ice than C-Webb! I mean making-up & rappin about your hood life when you grew up in the Burb’s!?

    Incredibly insightful.

Family Guy made fun of Will Smith’s good clean rap, I believe them

  20. gshooting on Fri, 9th Aug 2013 5:09 am

You say that as if it wasn’t a stupid thing to say.

  21. hawadjie on Fri, 9th Aug 2013 5:51 am

Spot on. Drake could of had the Will Smith or Justin Timberlake persona of good guy, suave lyrics but instead chose to hang out with the wrong crowd (YMCMB) and now look at him.Same with Chris Brown. Everyone singing about the same thing: money, cars, women.

He said a young Will Smith is one of the greatest rappers of all-time not the greatest.
