This is the first time I visited this site and I’m curious to know why is it called “Smartenupnas”. I’m just trying to understand if the founders dislike Nas that much? That would be really disrespectful to a legend of his caliber, so just for some clairty can someone please explain the point of the “Smartenupnas” title please?

Nas should never be allowed to be interviewed. He has a hard time expressing his thoughts. The guy is asking him if he will write positive songs. Why didnt Nas bring up the NIGGER album. That is truth and speaks to the struggle.

I support any man that is focused on our youth. Nas has incorporated the “truth” in his music for years. I remember listening to the wisdom in Black Girl Lost. He has numerous tracks that speak to the issues in our community.
