Rappers don’t invest in anything black owned from clothes to cars, banks right down to liquor. when you have a chance look at a quarter it’ll have the year when it was made meaning money doesn’t disappear it just switches hands…next time you spend your money think about the significance.

There is a such thing as black areas that aren’t the hood.

Dekalb County, Georgia. One of the highest concentrated areas of black people in the entire United States.

And there are rich black folks down to poor black folks all in one area. Some areas are low income, others are high income, others are in between.

So you can leave “the hood” without leaving black people. And there is no glory to be had by staying in “the hood.” Especially when you have a wife & kids, and are trying to provide a better life for your family.

so you get all that money then…..you move into a white area where they don’t want u, spend money at white owned stores that “don’t make products for black people” before you know it your house gets foreclosed and sold back to the white banks and all those white friends who used to kick it ain’t around anymore….the “white” community i.e. designer clothing jewellery stores dept stores banks suck you dry and spit you out then you’re back to the hood where its hella hard b/c YOU NEVER INVESTED ANY OF YOUR MONEY IN THE HOOD TO MAKE THINGS BETTER…moral – whats wrong wit Lo building his music studio in the hood to give ppl an opportunity to do something productive? the REAL problem with black ppl is as soon as we get money we give it ALL back to white folks and never see a dime again
