Soulja boy is fresh ass hell and is actually the true meaning of what hip hop is sposed to be. He came from the hood, made his own beats, made up a new saying, new sound and a new dance with one song. He had all of America rapping this summer. If that ain’t Hip Hop then what is? A bunch of wannabe keep it real rappers that ain’t even relevant, recycling samples trying to act like it’s 96 again and all they do is hate on new shit? Ni*gas always talk about the golden age but for a 13 year old kid, this is the golden age!!! That song was so dope cause everything he said had a hidden meaning… that’s Nas level sh*t… he just put it over some steel drums which is also some Nas sh*t if you had the 2nd album cassette with the bonus track “Silent Murder” on it. In closing… new niggas get ya money$$$$$$$$$$ Keep this sh*t fresh and original…. ain’t no fu*kin’ rules to this sh*t and that’s what real hip hop is to me.

dude (souldjaboy) is 17.. he makes music for that age group.. older people ought to feel 17 listening to it.. and turn it off (hell, i do..) but the kids love it.. dance and all.. so i think Mr T was wrong all around in this case.. what he said to souldjaboy was no different from what he said to hurricane.. and both ‘hatements’ were unnecesary..

LMAO @ THIS KAT QUOTING YE YE….. You can’t take that comment from Kanye seriously, I mean dude put Nas and Soja Boi in the same sentence….this even brings me back when Ye said it himself, what does it take to be a legend like Nas is….so if Nas is a legend what does this makes some little kid?… that in itself shows Kanye is making fun of the kid plus, Ye just did that to grab his 17yr old fan base…..look at the deeper meaning of that comment…..

Being 17 doesn’t have nothing to do with it…..there were kats back in the day who came out at a younger age spitting Knowledge like they’re professors in college…..just to name 2, remember Wu Tang affiliate Shyheim?…..what about Chi Ali?….I’m 23, and even I can tell you when looking back at those days compared to now, our youth has (or in the process of) really evolving into dummies, when it comes to Hip Hop….

This is giving all listeners of this music a bad rep, and what i mean by that is, if someone who doesn’t listen to this music see this dumb ish on, lets say MTV, and then goes outside and see the typical “Urban listener/Hip Hop’er” that person is going to quickly assume that he or she listens to that type of ish, when they might be into Madlib, Flying Lotus, Moka Only, hell even Frank Sinatra…..

I’ve been in this situation many times, and it pees me….the dumb are taking over this art form and it needs to stop….

yeah i know my comment is long, sorry about that, lol

Good point his music is for his age group. Ice needs to fall back, and let shorty hump the stage and get his paper. Id do the same if people were dumb enought o give me $ for that bull%$#&
