Def Jam dropped the ball and thats just the reality of it. You wanna know why freeways sales are so low…….no body knew his damn album was out….now dont get me wrong, i am not saying that he would be platinum by now, but I am saying that freeway is atleast a gold artist. Free had no video, no radio play and still managed to move 30 something thousand in the first week. now with the proper promotion he could have moved anywhere from 75,000-100K.
Beans on the other hand, they not only dropped the ball, but the shit also went out of bounds. We been waiting for beans to drop since he been home, Jay basically bamboozled him into to signing with him over dame, and then turn around and leave him out there to fend for himself. That shit Crazy!!!
Beans was best under Jay on the Roc, then you sweet talk him into not fucking with dame just so you could fuck him over,

beans never had an individual hit and freeway had one. 50 should’ve supported freeway like jay put him on his AG tour, but he didn’t. beans albums was hot trash. neither of these dudes would be on any label if it wasn’t for jay keep giving them chances. they need to be thankful. blame the downloader and bootleggers because the same lack of promotion is happening at every label.
